Nerimbera FC players named in the CQ Spirit Team

Congratulations to Nerimbera Football Club players Owen Tari, Jeremy McMahon, Trey Butler and Eithan Butler as well as former player Daniel Yow Yeh for being part of the CQ Spirit team that won the 2022 First Nations Indigenous Football Cup. Nerimbera also had representation in the Women's team with Brooke Rawlings.

Service to Football Platinum Award

Congratulations to our Club Co-ordinator Ange Blomfield on being recognised as one of Platinum Service to Football winners from across Queensland as part of the 2022 Football in Queensland Awards. Nerimbera Football Club would like to congratulate Ange for all the time and effort that she puts in to keep this great club running.

Nerimbera FC Under 14's Grand Final Bound

Good luck to our Under 14's Maggies who have won their semi-final and will now play Frenchville in the Grand Final next Saturday 10th September.

Nerimbera FC Juniors selected to represent Queensland

Congratulations to  NFC Junior players Jamie Clark and Jack England who have been selected in the U15 squad to represent Queensland in the 2022 National Youth Championships for Boys. Jamie will travel to Coffs Harbour with the Queensland team in September.

Nerimbera FC players selected to represent CQ 

Congratulations to senior players Toby Richardson, Michael Cay, Ryan Horan & Joe Bramhall on their selection in the Rockhampton representative side. Who will join forces with players from Berserker, Capricorn Coast, Frenchville and Bluebirds to represent the region in a exhibition game against NPL side Magpies Crusaders in Mackay on Saturday 20th February 21.

NFC Sign On & Information Day

Nerimbera FC are holding a sign on information day. Interested to find out more about the club or playing football. Our clubhouse will be open from 9am - 11am Sunday 31st January 2021.  NFC members will be available on the day to answer questions and samples of club apparel will be available for ordering.

NFC to take on the World Cup in 2021

The club have exciting plans to take teams to the 2021 Fraser Coast Joeys Mini World Cup.  FCJMWC is an annual football tournament like no other, with up to 100 teams competing in Hervey Bay, in the Sept/Oct School Holidays.

​

FCJMWC is an Australian Football Tournament for players aged 8 to 18 years, male and female. Starting Sunday the 26th of September and finishing Friday the 1st of October 2021. The Joeys Mini World Cup tournament guarantees 7 to 8 games for each participating team with finals or play offs on the last day of the tournament, for each team.

​

3 players and 1 referee to be awarded with fully paid overseas tours to Germany the following year. 40 players and 5 coaches to receive subsidies to go on this coaching and playing tour with the Joeys All Star Team. Minimum age 14 years. For players 18 and above possibilities to be signed by German Teams. Football and educational hosting scholarships in Germany, are also available for players from this tournament.

NFC would like to welcome new and returning coaches for the 2021 season. Our club has a team of focused coaching staff collaborating with a wealth of knowledge and passion for all things football.

Senior Coaching Staff for 2021 season:

Head Coach - Michael Cay

Skill Acquisition Coach - Cal Lynch

Cal Lynch joins NFC coaching staff 

NFC would like to welcome Cal Lynch to the club's coaching staff. Cal's vast experience and knowledge will be an enormous asset to the club in overseeing the development of players. Senior players go off field for fitness

NFC senior men's and women's squads ventured off field from their regular training night. Attending a closed training session at ETS Compound to focus on their fitness. Huge thanks to Shaun and the team at ETS for putting the squads through their paces.
